Elements Supply’s Co-Extruded Vacuum Pouches are made from a high-quality film that meets FDA and USDA requirements for use with food products. The three-mil thick, nine-layer mixture of polyethylene and nylon resins provides excellent performance, and its ability to stretch allows the material to conform to a unique product shape. Co-Extruded Vacuum bags have a low oxygen transfer rate that makes the material popular with food processors packaging meat, fish, nuts, dried fruit, jerky, and snack products to last. Excellent clarity, strength, impact resistance, and flexibility. Excellent barrier properties for both oxygen and moisture vapor transmission. These bags can be used in a wide range of temperatures from 0-150F.
These bags are designed to be used with a chamber vacuum sealer which uses a vacuum nozzle. They will not work with most household sealers (e.g. FoodSaver and Seal-A-Meal) which require "channeled" vacuum pouches.
